Special Needs Yoga

Private yoga sessions for kids and teens 

Yoga is a great tool for kids and teens with special needs to boost mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. It is a wonderful way to foster a deeper connection to one's body, breath, and mind. 

Practicing yoga can help with:

- focus and concentration

- self-regulation 

- coordination and balance 

- flexibility and strength

- stress relief and relaxation

- mindfulness 

- self-esteem

- motor skills

About Camille 

In addition to being a certified yoga teacher, I have a Master's Degree in Child Studies. My work has included working with kids, teens, and adults in various settings and with people of varying abilities and needs.

My work with the special needs population includes:

- Aspiring Youth Summer Camp at Ryther in Seattle

(camp counselor and yoga instructor)

-The Academy for Precision Learning in Seattle

(yoga instructor)

- Various school settings in New Hampshire, California and Washington

(instructional aide, assistant teacher, yoga instructor)

-Private settings for one-on-one yoga sessions

-Community day program setting with adults  


Private yoga sessions are designed to fit the needs of the individual. 


Classes can include: breathing exercises, mindfulness, yoga poses, games, dance, story, and play. 

Class length and frequency can be flexible.
