This morning I focused my practice on opening my second chakra. I can tell this energy center is blocked when I lack creativity and feel generally unmotivated. Lately, I've been doing a lot of comparing myself to others while trying to answer the ridiculous question of what I want to be when I grow up. So what do I turn to when I feel lost and lacking?
1. Practice and share yoga. This is what makes me feel alive and inspired!
2. Sit in silence with myself so I can hear what the universe is trying to tell me.
3. Get inspired. I look for inspiration in books, social media, nature, and lately my sweet little puppy who is sitting in the corner of this picture. Willow is the so full of love and happiness and needs so little to feel content. She's my little Buddha!
4. Practice gratitude. When I think of everything I already have, I realize how blessed I am and what a waste of time it is to wish for more.
